The United States will give visa to Entrepreneurs
26 January, 2017duguech
The US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) recently announced that, starting in July, it will open a new path for entrepreneurs wishing to establish their business within the country. This has been a draft of the Migration Reform Law of 2013, which, although still in force, is not clear its permanence with the new Government.
The so-called Law of Entrepreneurs proposes to create a specific visa for foreign entrepreneurs who are committed to generating employment and guaranteeing investment in the country. Investors will be able to apply for a “temporary status” to stay in the United States and create emerging companies. The status lasts two and a half years and can be renewed for the same period.
The new legislation indicates that entrepreneurs must demonstrate that their young companies (no more than five years in the making) have the potential to “grow rapidly” and create jobs through government grants of at least $ 100,000 or At least $ 250,000 from a qualified investor.
