Have you finished your studies and want to stay and look for work in Spain? You probably want to build your own business or find internships at businesses related to your area of study. If that is the case, here is a guide to Residency while searching for employment.
Who can request it?
Those people who find themselves in Spain on a student visa and have reached, at least, a level 6 in an authorized higher educational institution, including foreign students with a Degree in Higher Artistic Teachings.
Among the requirements to present, from those who have obtained them, are:
- The title, certificate, or proof of higher education under the official qualifications within the European Qualifications Framework.
- Medical insurance, public or private, signed with an insurer authorized in Spain.
- Proof of sufficient economic resources for the time of residency is requested used to look for employment.

In the same fashion as the student visa, the application submission period is during the 60 natural days prior to the expiration of the student residency permit and the 90 days after.
