Japan suspends visas to foreigners
Japan will suspend the issuance of visas to foreigners due to Covid-19 until the end of May.
According to the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the suspension of short-term visas covers citizens from more than 100 countries. The suspension including to the United States, China and South Korea.
The measure, contemplated within the restrictions caused by Covid-19. Also warns that Japanese citizens who return to the country must undergo a diagnostic test and be quarantined for two weeks.
