France requires a health passport to go to the cinema
As of July 21, French citizens must present the European health passport, i.e., a full vaccination certificate, or a negative test for Covid to go to museums, cinemas, or sports centers.
Those in charge of cultural centers, restaurants and other places of entertainment will control the entrance to the premises but will not verify the identity of users or customers.
Italy wants to join the initiative
Mario Draghi, the Italian Prime Minister, has told his government partners that Italy should join in the use of the covid passport for indoor activities such as bars and restaurants, and for travelling on the subway and airplanes.
European countries are becoming increasingly concerned about the advance of the delta variant, which is forcing governments to take restrictive measures.
