Flights to the United States from Europe suspended due to coronavirus

Flights to the United States from Europe will be suspended from Friday, March 13. The restriction, which will be in force for 30 days, also states that:

  • It only affects foreign citizens who have been in any of the countries of the European Union in the last 14 days.
  • Passengers returning from Europe will undergo medical tests at arrival airports.
  • The return of permanent residents and immediate family members of US citizens will not be affected.
  • And, the restriction applies to commercial flights, but not to freight flights.
  • Moreover, flights from the UK will be excluded from the order.
