Cuba: new visa application to travel to Spain
The Consulate General of Spain in Cuba reported that as of November 2020 a new system for applying for a visa is being implemented on the island.
Travelers must submit their application for visa interviews from the new link available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, also indicating that “no appointment requests will be accepted by any means other than via the electronic system.”
The Spanish Consulate in Cuba also clarified that “those with an UNUSED and expired visa from March 15 to November 1 may renew it free of charge WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT in Calle Zulueta on any business day. They must come in person and with their passport from 08.00 to 09.00 ”.
These are the visas that can be applied for to travel to Spain:
- Student Visa
- Residency Permit
- Regrouping under the general regime
- Non-profit residence
- Family reunification of a citizen of the European Union
- Any other visa whose purpose is to reside in Spain
