Nigeria revised business visa conditions
Nigeria revised the conditions established for foreigners with business visa and establishes new penalties for those who fail to comply with the terms of permitted stay.
To date, the period allowed under business visa is 56 days a year; those who exceed the limit must pay the appropriate extension fee; otherwise, they will be imposed a fine which will vary according to the time exceeded. Nationals of the Economic Community of West African States(ECOWAS) do not require visas, which are not affected by this decision.
Foreigners for work required to stay longer in the country, must apply for a work permit, which allows a stay of up to three months.
