The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration released new instructions with the purpose of clarifying some aspects regarding the student permit in Spain. These are the SEM 1/2023 Instructions, which aim at the homogeneous application of the regulations on foreigners regarding to the different categories of students.

They include regulations on: studies that can be the object of an authorization of stay for studies; place of presentation and deadlines for resolution; authorization to work; requirements;  procedure; duration of the authorization and mobility between States of the European Union.
