Kazakhstan eliminates visas in 19 countries
In order to strengthen trade relations and encourage foreign investment, Kazakhstan has decided to eliminate visas for 19 countries, including Spain. This measure, which comes into action 16th July 2016, will be effective until 31st December 2017. It is applicable for stays of up to 15 days.
The visa waiver will also have a positive impact on tourism, as it will encourage the influx of tourists to Kazakhstan for two major international events: the 2017 ‘Expo’ and the 2017 ‘Universiada’.
The countries benefiting from this measure are: Australia, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States of America, Germany, Finland, France, Switzerland and Japan.
