Germany has implemented granting of business visas to Chinese citizens within 48 hours. The application to date took 10 business days for approval, and it will be processed with no extra cost. This initiative commenced on 1 st May 2015.

This benefit is part of a bilateral agreement and is awarded to Chinese citizens travelling on business and need to obtain a Type C visa (short stay). Although China has not announced the change in processing times for German business travelers, it is expected to commence during 2015.
