Morocco provides the electronic visa
Morocco has an electronic visa that can be obtained from 24 to 72 hours. The maximum validity of this permit is 180 days, from the date of issue, for a maximum stay of 30 days.
“Applications submitted online by the nationals concerned, through, and relating to “Tourist” or “Business” visas, will be processed within 24 hours (express visa) and 72 hours (standard visa), reports the official MAP news agency.
With the electronic visa, citizens of the Schengen area, the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel, Thailand and New Zealand who are holders of non-electronic, multiple-entry visas valid for at least 90 days will be able to enter Morocco.
Foreigners with a residence or stay permit valid for at least 180 days in one of the countries of the European Union, the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Norway, New Zealand and Switzerland will also benefit from the new electronic visa in Morocco.
In order to streamline consular services, the list of countries that will benefit from this electronic visa will be gradually expanded.
