New travel restrictions due to increase in Covid-19 infections
The end of the year is approaching and in order to bring projects to a close, business travel and travel of workers for technical assistance services are on the increase. However, due to the increase of Covid-19 infections in several European countries, new restrictions for international travelers should be taken into consideration.
United Kingdom
One of the countries where travel restrictions vary the most. If you plan to go to London soon, you must present a complete vaccination certificate, and book an antigen test to be performed on the second day of your arrival in the city.
The reservation must be made online before your trip so that you can present a code that will be sent to the e-mail address you provide. If you are going to stay there for more than a week, you must fill in a form in which the details of your stay are collected so that the health authorities can locate you. If you become infected there, you must be quarantined for at least 12 days.
United States
The United States has opened its borders for non-essential travel since November 9. However, there are still certain restrictions for travelers. You must present an ESTA (travel authorization for tourist travel), a complete vaccination schedule, a negative PCR test and an antigen test performed no more than three days before your trip. Please note that if you have only one dose of the vaccine you will not be able to enter the country, even if you have already passed the Covid-19.
Germany
Germany still maintains a list of territories at risk, although Spain has already been excluded from the list. To enter the country you will need to complete an electronic entry registration and in some places you may be asked for a PCR test together with the full schedule vaccination certificate.
France
If you are traveling by plane you must present a full vaccination certificate, as well as an affidavit confirming that you have no symptoms of the disease.
Italy
To travel to Italy you must download a form from the Internet and submit it filled in until the system generates a QR code that will be sent to the e-mail address you provide along with your personal data with the location of your stay in the country.
